Holocene is an oversized, hand-pulled and painted reduction lino print. It is made using soy-based inks and on Japanese washi.  The hand-painting, rather than rollering ink application was designed to produce  slightly variable edition. Inks were fingertip-pressed and applied in 11 separate layers. 
 
Shortlisted for the Artfinder / Octopus Energy Portraits from the Precipice Prize in 2020. 
 
Exhibited with Wednesday Printmakers in 2019. 
 
Prints were made in a limited edition of 8.
