I have worked  in community art settings for over 10 years, focusing on co-collaborative illustration, group work and workshop design.

Throughout this time I became interested in developing self-sustaining projects that educate and empower participants to be able to maintain their own creative practice outside of educational settings. I also grew aware of the social and personal benefits that come from being able to sustain creative relationships in the community through joint group projects, and that artists are not only in a position to facilitate this but that the key to producing a lasting impact is in genuine collaboration on an equal basis with participants.

I am a qualified educator and have a background in FE and HE arts education. Please contact me if you would like more information or advice about your project.
